This course deals with the fundamentals of computer programming. This module will give the students an understanding of data representation, data structure, algorithm and flowcharting. C++ (pronounced cee plus plus) is a general purpose programming language. It has imperative, object-oriented and generic programming features, while also providing the facilities for low level memory manipulation..

This course aims to develop reading and writing skills as applied to a wide range of materials other than poetry, fiction and drama.

At the end of this course, the students should be able to:

1. realize that information in a written text may be selected and organized to achieve a particular purpose.
2. understand the relationship of a written text and the context in which it was developed
3. understand the requirements of composing academic writing and professional correspondence
4. produce each type of academic writing and professional correspondence following the properties of well-written texts and process approach to writing.
