The subject covers various contemporary arts practices of the region where the school is located. It aims to provide students with an appreciation of a broad range of styles in the various disciplines with consideration on their elements and principles, and engage them to an integrative approach in studying arts. Through this subject, students will broaden and acquire the necessary creative tools that open opportunities in pursuing their individual career goals and aspirations.

This course will tackle issues and concerns central to the health and welfare of individuals, particularly young adults. The modules in this course contain knowledge to successfully navigate the physical, mental and emotional challenges that one faces, thus, this course equips our learners with critical thinking skills which are a vital ingredient in lifelong success of personal health. The goal is to present a full range of information from a variety of sources, which allows our students to ingest and process what they are given in order to cement good habits, as well as develop new ideas and appropriate mindsets regarding one self’s overall health and wellness. 

At the end of this course, the students will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of Physical and Health Education
  2. Develop practical and effective strategies to improve and maintain personal health.
  3. Employ correct and accepted practices on preventive health and community-health initiatives.
  4. Understand our hormones and neurotransmitters.
  5. Recognize common stressors and conditions.
  6. Identify the appropriate actions and response to depression and suicide.
  7. Distinguish various types of eating disorders
  8. Generate effective interventions towards substance abuse
  9. Review the basic physical home workout routines.
  10. Generate an exercise week plan.
  11. Evaluate various traditional Filipino games or Laro ng Lahi which are critical to one's holistic development.
  12. Determine the detailed physical effects of stress into different body systems and organs.
  13. Reflect on self-love as key to personal health.
  14. Develop awareness and initiative on creating an active atmosphere despite the challenges brought by the pandemic.

This course makes senior high school students aware of the developmental stage that they are in, for them to better understand themselves and the significant people around them as they make important career decisions as adolescents. The course consists of modules, each of which addresses a key concern in personal development. Using the experiential learning approach, each module invites students to explore specific themes in their development. Personal reflections, sharing, and lectures help reveal and articulate relevant concepts, theories, and tools in different areas in psychology.

Pagsulat ng iba’t ibang anyo ng sulating lilinang sa mga kakayahang magpahayag tungo sa mabisa, mapanuri, at masinop na pagsusulat sa piniling larangan.

Pangkalahatang Layunin:

Sa katapusan ng semestre/asignatura, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

  1. Nabibigyang-kahulugan ang teknikal at bokasyunal na sulatin,
  2. Nakikilala ang iba’t ibang teknikal-bokasyunal na sulatin
  3. Nakapagsasagawa ng panimulang pananaliksik kaugnay ng kahulugan, kalikasan, at katangian ng iba’t ibang anyo ng sulating teknikal-bokasyunal;
  4. Naiisa-isa ang mga hakbang sa pagsasagawa ng mga binasang halimbawang sulating teknikal-bokasyunal,
  5. Naililista ang mga katawagang teknikal kaugnay ng piniling anyo;
  6. Naipapaliwanag nang pasalita sa paraang sistematiko at malinaw ang piniling anyo sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng angkop na mga termino;
  7. Nakasusulat ng sulating batay sa maingat, wasto, at angkop na paggamit ng wika;
  8. Naisasaalang-alang ang etika sa binubuong tenikal-bokasyunal na sulatin at

Pag-aaral tungo sa pananaliksik ukol sa kalikasan, katangian, pag-unlad, gamit, at paggamit ng Wikang Filipino sa mga sitwasyong komunikatibo at kultural sa lipunang Pilipino.

Sa katapusan ng semestre/asignatura, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

  1. Nauunawaan ang mga konsepto, elementong kultural, kasaysayan, at gamit ng wika sa lipunang Pilipino.
  2. Nauunawaan nang may masusing pagsasaalang-alang ang mga lingguwistiko at kultural na katangian at pagkakaiba-iba sa lipunang Pilipino at mga sitwasyon ng paggamit ng wika dito.
  3. Nakagagawa ng mga pag-aaral ukol sa iba’t ibang sitwasyon ng paggamit ng wikang Filipino sa loob ng kultura at lipunang Pilipino.
  4. Nakapagdidisenyo ng mga pasulat at pasalitang presentasyon sa iba’t ibang sitwasyon at disiplina.
  5. Nakasusulat ng isang panimulang pananaliksik sa mga penomenang kultural at panlipunan sa bansa.

This course aims to develop reading and writing skills as applied to a wide range of materials other than poetry, fiction and drama.

At the end of this course, the students should be able to:

  1. realize that information in a written text may be selected and organized to achieve a particular purpose.
  2. understand the relationship of a written text and the context in which it was developed
  3. understand the requirements of composing academic writing and professional correspondence
  4. produce each type of academic writing and professional correspondence following the properties of well-written texts and process approach to writing.
