THIS SUBJECT IS DESIGNED TO TEACH COLLEGE STUDENTS, SPECIALLY IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WITH THE ESSENTIAL DRAFTING PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES TO READ/INTERPRET AND PREPARE WORKING DRAWINGS AS A WAY OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE ENGINEER AND THE WORKER. IT INCLUDES PROPER USAGE AND CARE OF DRAFTING INSTRUMENTS/EQUIPMENTS AND MATERIALS; ALPHABET OF LINES; FREEHAND LETTERING AND SKETCHING; SCALING A DRAWING; PROJECTION OF VIEWS IN 2D AND 3D PLANES; SECTIONAL VIEWS; DETAILED DIMENSIONING; AND INTRODUCTION TO AUTOCAD.
EACH TOPIC IS SUPPORTED WITH LECTURES, DEMOS, AND/OR PRACTICAL EXERCISES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE "ISO" STANDARD.
