PNEUMATICS AND ELECTRICAL CONTROLS
COURSE SUMMARY:
This course deals with the study of the operation, design, function and applications of various pneumatic elements and Electrical components commonly used in industry. It presents the different pneumatic symbols as well as all the electrical components particularly in controls and explains how they are used in schematic diagrams according to the ISO Standard. Sufficient time is allocated for hands-on exercises to achieve hook-up and troubleshooting skills.
OBJECTIVES:
•explain the working principles of the different pneumatic and hydraulics elements and their application
•interpret graphic symbols and know the construction of the different pneumatic and hydraulic elements
•read, interpret and design pneumatic and hydraulic circuit diagrams according to ISO
•connect, start up and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
