This course deals with the study of digital techniques. It deals with the principles, operation, application and data sheet of logic gates, sequential logic circuits and combinational logic circuits. The different logic families and their distinctive characteristics will be discussed. This also covers an introduction to linear integrated circuits (LICs). It deals with the principles, characteristic, operation, data sheet and application of LICs’ especially operation amplifiers. Application circuits will be discussed as their industrial uses and functions.

This course deals with antennas and the fundamentals of digital transmission technology. The principles of principles of digital modulation, demodulation and multiplexing technology are explained, followed by a study of digital communication systems and digital data communication. Laboratory experiments are also provided to achieve practical and theoretical understanding of the course.

It deals with the designing, installing and troubleshooting of industrial controls. Also includes manual and semi-automatic motor controller.
This course covers the fundamental areas of technology on which successful mechatronic system designs are based: basic principles in machine control systems, sequential control, pneumatics and electro-pneumatics, vacuum technology, and programmable logic controller. Importance is given on the real benefits of mechatronics to industry; a design approach which are better and shorter development time, lower costs, and increased quality, reliability, and performance.

This course deals with the study of the moral behavior or conduct of man as viewed from principles known by human reason. It covers human actions from the point of view of the rightness or wrongness based on objective moral norms. Included in it are the modifiers of voluntary acts and sources of morality, indirect, voluntariness, moral obligations and sanctions and the cardinal virtues. Secondly, this aims to help the students develop a “philosophy of life” that will give meaning and direction to their work and life. It covers the study of positive attitudes, dispositions, and values, their internal formulation and integration, and their translation in actual behaviors.
