About the Collections

The Library’s collection goals based on the Balanced Scorecard are:
  1. To meet the library standards and specifications required by Regulatory Bodies such as Commission on Higher Education, Department of Education and TESDA.
  2. To Manage and disseminate information providing support to members of the academic community including MFI employees, students, researchers and lecturing staff.
  3. To acquire and maintain adequate resources that support MFI’s teaching, learning, research , programs and curriculum of the Institution.
  4.  To provide access to that collection in print, electronic and audio-visual formats and via user-friendly access points.

The MFI LIBRARY maintains an open shelf or access system wherein Collections are ity Studies are arranged on the shelves according to the library of Congress Classification Scheme (LCC)

The Collection

MFI Foundation, Inc. – Ortigas Branch Library

The library’s collection consists mainly of Reference books on various technical and general subjects which about 6,000 holdings as of s.y 2016-2017. The following comprises the library collection:
