This course deals with principles of industrial process control systems. It covers the concepts of instrumentation and control systems and its characteristics. It also covers different Control Algorithm such as ON-OFF, Proportional, Integral and Derivative controls. Other strategies for controlling multi-element variables are also covered such as split-range, ratio, cascade and feed-forward control systems. Hands-on exercises are also provided in this training to enhance the knowledge and skills of trainees in the proper configuration of Instrumentation and Control devices.
