The Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy youth Training Service (LTS) of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) are designed to encourage the youth to contribute to the improvement of the general welfare and the quality of Life of Filipinos. These will require the students to carry out projects and activities contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of life of community members or the enhancement of its facilities, especially those devoted to improving health, education, safety, livelihood, environment, entrepreneurship, recreation, moral, patriotism, and nationalism of the citizenry, and other social welfare services.
