Course Design and Development Workshop

This workshop is designed to jumpstart the development of your first online/face-to-face course and create course materials appropriate for different types of learning in a collaborative environment. The workshop is facilitated by the Course Development Workshop Committee. You’ll receive feedback from a cohort of peers and an instructional designer throughout the workshop.

This course is designed to familiarize the students on the basics of Product Photography using Smartphones. It also covers topics which aims to teach participants’ on how to do basic graphic designing. This training is for those who wants to learn how to create posters and edit photos for business, educational or personal use. It also covers the basics of graphic designing using mobile applications to create social media contents.

    At the end of the session the participants should be able to:

  • Identify the basics of product photography using Smartphones.
  • Prepare product for photoshoot such as composition, lighting, and proper settings to enhance your smartphone pictures.
  • Apply basic graphic design on photo editing app available in smartphone

      Create a portfolio of product photoshoot following the principles of basic photography in different scenarios. 

This is an introductory course on online game development which teaches students how to build

games completely from scratch by using HTML5 and phaser.js library. This also covers online

game development concepts, programming and application. This course allows the students to

acquire skills that are useful across many industries; and to develop skills and explore their

interests in online game development.

At the end of the training, the participants are expected to:

1. Be familiar with concepts and fundamentals of game development

2. Apply the phaser.js library to HTML5.

3. Develop and deploy the final project using HTML5 and phaser.js
