This course deals with occupational health and safety inside the workshop laboratory and proper use of tools & equipment to be used. It also covers the fundamentals of electricity and electronics and how to properly test different components. It also covers wire splicing, soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and surface mount devices. Fabrication of printed circuit board will be discussed and the over-all application is through assembly of an electronic product.
